Pass Plus was specifically developed to provide further professional instruction after passing the Practical Driving Test, and gain more driving experience - especially in areas that may not / cannot be covered in 'normal' driving lessons. (Saying this, most BLUE CAR pupils will have covered some of this syllabus as part of their initial training.)

The Pass Plus Course covers the following 6 modules...

Town Driving
Rural Roads / Out of Town Driving
Dual Carriageways
Motorway Driving
Night Driving
Adverse Weather (a theory session – it doesn’t normally rain, sleet, snow, get icy, windy & foggy with bright dazzling sun all in the space of 1 hour – does it?!)

There are no tests to sit at the end - Just satisfy your Instructor that you understand & can apply the Competencies as set by the Driving Standards Agency. Then, you should be able to enjoy the benefits of HUGE Insurance Discounts! (link to examples)

Why can we say you may get an Insurance Discount?

Some Insurers perceive you to be of less risk (and statistically, you will be) when you've completed the Pass Plus Course - and reward you with a discount approx. equal to 1 year's No Claims! This normally outweighs the cost of the course - by HUNDREDS OF POUNDS!

How much does it cost?

The PASS PLUS Course costs £160.00 for the first 6 hours. Normally, the course can be completed in these 6 hours. If any further tuition is needed, this is then charged at our standard rates. See our rates chart
